Case Studies
One of the nation’s leading companies in healthcare resilience.
Project: This project was to build a completely new website and increase the ranking for 30 keyword phrases without location qualifiers and another 52 keyword phrases with location qualifiers. The number of keyword phrases actually increased as work was done. In the beginning the company did not rank within the 1st 3 pages of Google for any of these keyword phrases. As you might expect there was very little traffic to the existing website. Basically, all the traffic was direct traffic and none from Google Search. This was in April of 2020 and the traffic was about 40 website visits per month.
Strategy: We built a responsive website to speak to both healthcare workers (doctors and nurses) and those responsible for the profitability of healthcare organizations. We created optimized content and performed on-page and off-page SEO.
Results: Fast forward to November of 2020 and the new website ranked #1 in the nation for the following important revenue driving phrases (there were more as you can see from the snapshot):
how can nurses provide emotional support for patients
online resilience training
resilience in health care
resilience training online
emotional resilience training near me
resiliency solutions
emotional support in nurses
providing emotional support to patients
resilience training for nurses
online resilience training
resilience training online
resilience training program
resiliency training courses
All the original 82 keyword phrases were found on the 1st page of Google; 54 keywords were ranked #1 and as of November of 2020, this generated about 3300 website visits per month.
The website also had 3 featured snippets, one of them being “resilience in healthcare” which was our #1 targeted search phrase.
Our nationwide ranking for these keyword phrases generated work for the client from healthcare and municipalities all over the US.

A well-established trailer rental company in North Carolina
Project: This project was for a well-established trailer rental company in the middle of North Carolina which had an old website without good structure, responsiveness, or SEO. They were getting business simply because they had been in business so long and not from online. Our job was to create user friendly website that looked good on mobile and could be found on the 1st page of Google for the revenue driving search phrases in the semi-trailer rental industry for North Carolina and South Carolina since they also had some trailers there. The company was full service, so they also provided drivers and trucks.
Strategy: First, we built an easy to navigate website, created content around the main keyword phrases and began SEO. Since this industry was very competitive, we suggested Google Ads and social media marketing as well. So, we were running ads, posting on social media and we created landing pages for the same keyword phrases for which we were doing the SEO work.
Results: Our results were great. For our revenue driving keyword phrases for this industry and without a location qualifier, we had 31 phrases at the #1 position in Google search results. For the location qualifier as North Carolina, we had 49 phrases in the #1 position. For Greensboro we had 40 keyword phrases in the #1 position. And for Raleigh we had 38 keyword phrases in the #1 position. We also had 11 keyword phrases in the #1 position for South Carolina which is not shown here. See the snapshot report below:
The trailer rental company ranked so well on the east coast that they were noticed by a national company which sought them out to purchase their business. Eventually, they did sell and made a lot of money.
An IT management franchise for small businesses
This company was a franchisee of an IT management franchise for small businesses. Corporate had all sorts of problems with their website and especially SEO for individual franchisees. Our task was to get their site ranking on the 1st page of Google for all the services they provided.
Here is where they ranked at the start:

Strategy: We created content, updated technical SEO and edited existing content for specific keyword phrases and began SEO. We were somewhat limited because of the franchise.
Results: After 1 year of implementing our strategic plan, our results were impressive.
Searching from the center of the US, the website had 82 phrases in the #1 position. Searching from the center of Chapel Hill, the site had 107 results in the #1 position. Search from the center of Durham, the site had 90 keyword phrases in the #1 position on Google. Here is a snapshot of those results:
